Chicago. O’hare 7:35am….I’ve been here since @5:30am and have 1/2 hour to go. Goddamn 3 hour layover…what was I thinking?

The shows in Sacramento were fun this weekend…good crowds. I’m a tad rusty, but this sometimes makes things fun in a way as I my brain stumbles around searching for funny. Who am I kidding? I’ve never really been un-rusty, never a well oiled comedy machine. It was fun though. Felt fresh. I brought out my old note books full of half ideas and confusing premises and gave ‘em a whirl….

Bonnnie is hilarious…made me laugh hard.
Bonnie and I have known each other close to a dozen years, maybe…One of those friendships where you may not see or talk to each other for a coupla years at time. (Read: fight) This year we talk a lot. Share an apartment…
She got married last fall.
This time last year she was there. There, on the worst days of my life.

Married to Rich Vos, they’ve been touring together for over two years now and she’s getting really good. Did you check out her HBO special?

Rich is amazing. He does an hour and barely tells any jokes. He just sits his little ass on a chair. Drinks a coffee and takes on the crowd - making it look so easy. It isn’t.

“I hosted Woodstock”, he likes to remind me - quite often..

..they just called my name to board for Milwaukee….gotta go…
